How It Works

From spoken series to published book — a guided, collaborative process designed to keep your voice at the center of every page.

Three principles that guide every project

Voice First

We capture how you naturally communicate before writing a single word. The book sounds like you because it starts with you.

Your Approval Required

Three formal checkpoints ensure nothing advances without your explicit sign-off. You stay in control throughout.

One Chapter at a Time

Each chapter is drafted, reviewed, and approved individually. You never feel overwhelmed by the full manuscript at once.

The process, step by step

01

Start Your Project

Create your account and complete a simple intake form. Tell us about yourself, your spoken series, your target reader, and your publishing goals. We review your submission and set up your project workspace.

What you do: Fill out intake form, upload sermon transcriptsTypical time: 1–2 days
02

Voice Capture

Complete our three-part Voice Capture Instrument. This includes a reflective questionnaire about how you communicate, guided writing prompts that capture your natural voice, and a style calibration exercise. This is the foundation — we don't write a single word until we know how you sound.

What you do: Answer questions, write short responses, compare passage stylesTypical time: 3–5 days (at your own pace)
03

Voice Validation

We produce a short sample passage written in your voice and share it with you. You tell us what sounds right, what doesn't, and what needs adjustment. We refine until you say, "That's me."

What you do: Read a sample, give honest feedbackTypical time: 2–3 days
04

Book ArchitectureApproval Checkpoint

We analyze your source material and propose a book outline — chapter structure, themes, arc, and flow. You review, give feedback, and approve the direction. This is your first formal approval checkpoint. No drafting happens without your sign-off.

What you do: Review outline, provide feedback, approveTypical time: 3–5 days
05

Chapter Enrichment

For each chapter, we ask you targeted questions: What stories should be included? What do you want to emphasize? What should be avoided? Your answers feed directly into the drafting process.

What you do: Answer chapter-specific promptsTypical time: 3–5 days
06

Chapter Drafting & Review

We draft each chapter one at a time and share it with you for review. You read, annotate, and either approve the chapter or request revisions. We don't move to the next chapter until you're satisfied with the current one.

What you do: Read chapters, provide feedback, approve each oneTypical time: Varies by book length
07

Full Manuscript ReviewApproval Checkpoint

Once all chapters are drafted and approved, we perform a full-manuscript review — checking consistency, flow, transitions, and overall coherence. You receive a diagnostic report and confirm revision priorities. This is your second formal approval checkpoint.

What you do: Review diagnostic, confirm revision prioritiesTypical time: 3–5 days
08

Final Polish & DeliveryApproval Checkpoint

We complete copyediting, scripture verification (if applicable), and the study guide appendix. You review the final manuscript package and give your official sign-off. This is your third and final approval checkpoint. You receive your publication-ready files.

What you do: Final review and approvalTypical time: 3–5 days

What you receive

  • Custom Voice Profile Document
  • Complete, publication-ready manuscript
  • Chapter-by-chapter study guide appendix
  • Cover design brief
  • Full manuscript diagnostic report
